Celebrate the Easter Holiday Byron Bay Style

Looking for something to do over the upcoming school holidays? How about celebrating the Easter holiday Byron Bay style? There’s so many festivals and events this time of year as well as the usual amazing beaches, great surf, unique shops, outstanding restaurants and hinterland experiences.

Of course the main event at Easter is the Byron Bay Bluesfest and this year being their 25th year, it promises to be spectacular. The location in Tyagarah, just north of Byron is well designed for festival goers with camping, food stalls, bars and seven stages of entertainment.

If you’re looking for health and healing over Easter the Starlight Wellbeing Expo is on from Good Friday through Easter Monday at the A & I Hall in Bangalow. There will be talks, workshops, treatments, cafe chats and stalls offering all modalities of healing over the Easter holiday weekend.

For a Hinterland experience there’s the Macadamia Castle in Knockrow, between Bangalow and Ballina where you can try macadamias in many forms, play miniature golf and visit their Australian animal zoo. After all that you may need a meal or at least a coffee and cake in their cafe. You might also like to try some tasty chocolate gift hampers for Easter from Byron Bay Gifts.

The Crystal Castle, just north of Byron along Coolamon Scenic Drive offers a lovely, peaceful experience in their Shambala Gardens, Buddha Walk, Labyrinth, Jewellery, Crystals, Children’s Playground, Aura Photos and Readings.

With so much for the whole family to do during the Easter holiday Byron Bay you’ll wish it lasted longer.
