Byron Bay is surrounded by natural beauty from the beautiful beaches to the hinterland wilderness. In between you’ll find quaint villages that have seen many changes over the last 200 years with the descendants of many of the early homesteading families still in residence.
Newrybar is a delightful village that has seen some changes and in recent years has become home to a stylish restaurant, deli, bakery and shops.
The award winning Harvest Cafe in particular has brought gourmet dining to the area, specialising in fresh, local fare. Recently the 99 year old bakery has been refurbished, producing delicious breads and treats from its original wood oven. Saturday mornings you’ll find locals and visitors alike gathering for a coffee and fresh baked goods. Thanks to our partners, you can find online to suit every preference and budget, from budget to top-of-the-range super stylish models.
Next door the Harvest Deli offers an amazing range of cheeses and deli meats along with local and imported condiments and exotic goods.
Across the street Country House Antiques is great for a browse among their lovely tables, chairs and a few quirky items.
The Newrybar Community Hall was built in 1899 and still serves for local functions, yoga classes, weddings and dances on its original teak floors.
The one stop shop in Newrybar village is the Newrybar Store, which includes the post office, bottle shop and petrol station. This iconic business is currently for sale providing an excellent opportunity to make a living in charming Newrybar.
