08 Nov North Coast Cultural Feast
There is way more to the North Coast of NSW than sun, sand and beautiful beaches…yes sirrreee…we are a total cultural hot spot. Sooo what better way to kick off for November than to keep you informed of what’s on offer.
We have an incredible array of fresh seafood at our fingertips in the North Coast region and what better way to celebrate that than with a festival to honour the delicious prawn. The Ballina Prawn Festival is on Saturday 12th November, here you can take part in the skateboard, river raft or prawn shelling competitions, watch some great live music, watch the fireworks and eat more than your fair share of prawns, prawns, prawns. Click here to find out more Ballina Prawn Festival.
Mullum Music Festival takes over the gorgeous town of Mullumbimby from November 17-20 and features a wide variety of music as well as clever comedy and creative theatre. Definitely worth getting along to even if only to soak up the vibe. For more info Mullum Music Festival.
If you’ve never been to the Brunswick Picture House then November is a great time to check out this lovely little venue. Choose from movies, docos, cabaret and comedy, something for everyone at this gorgeous picture house. See more here Brunswick Picture House.
November 18th and 19th sees the Everything Burlesque show at the Byron Theatre which by all accounts is a feast for all the senses. Details here Everything Burlesque.
Now if you are STILL looking for something to float your boat then the Tweed Regional Gallery is in a beautiful setting, just a short 25 minute drive up the road, has fabulous exhibitions and a great cafe. You can find out more here Tweed Regional Gallery.
